What do you get when you mix sci-fi with the horror genre? You'll find out when Fox premieres Sleepy Hollow this fall. It's the new series from producers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Fringe, Star Trek). It's a contemporary adaptation of Washington Irving's short story The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
Somehow Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) has traveled more than 200 years into the future, and he's not alone. His greatest nemesis, the Headless Horseman, also made the trip. This time around, he's described as one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
Sleepy Hollow also stars Nicole Beharie, Orlando Jones and Katia Winter. When you watch the trailer, you'll notice Star Trek's John Cho, who appears in the pilot episode.
Sleepy Hollow will air Mondays at 9 p.m on Fox.
