When the Emmy nominations were announced, Fringe fans (including Leonard Nimoy) were pretty upset about the beloved series' snub. So what does producer J.H. Wyman think about the omission? Apparently he was pretty upset.

Wyman told Entertainment Weekly he doesn't know if it's because the series is "too" sci-fi, or what, but he was pretty bummed to learn it didn't make the cut:

"We feel probably like a lot of you guys. I can't comprehend it ... If it's an issue because this is a science fiction show, I really don't know. I'm trying to believe the cream will always rise to the top. I have to believe that."
Though Fringe didn't make it this time, there's always next year—and Wyman said the epic finale could be what puts it over the top:
"Some things may be unexpected, some things may be expected. But I want to feel like what they got was earned. I want to be able to feel like there's a sense of closure...and a feeling of hopefulness."
What do you think? Will the fifth season finally be the one to break through?
