Now that Fringe has been given a new lease on life, Fox is pulling out all the stops for its finale. Season four will end with a bang that could (possibly) destroy both the worlds we love. Check out this new film-style trailer for the jaw-dropping episode.

Last Friday, the Fringe Division made a tough choice. Because of the extreme damage David Robert Jones was causing both universes, they were forced to close the bridge. That means no more visits from Alt-Olivia, Alt-Astrid and vice versa.

In the new trailer for the two-part finale entitled "Brave New World," everyone's on edge. Olivia's power has become overwhelming and she can't control it. Heck, she doesn't even understand it. But could her "gift" keep both universes safe? Or will we say goodbye to some characters once and for all?

Last month, the folks at GiveMeMyRemote visited the Fringe set and spoke with Jasika Nicole (Astrid/Alt-Astrid) about the show's concept of finality. Is the end really the end?

"This is the world of Fringe. We have established that nobody can anticipate what is going to come next," Jasika declared. "That's kind of the saving grace with everything. Whenever you say goodbye to a character, or a place, or whatever, you don't really know how long that goodbye's going to be for."

Fringe's finale airs May 11 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
