Futurama lands at Hulu after Netflix streaming deal expired

There sadly aren’t any new episodes in the works, but you can at least watch Futurama on streaming again soon — it’s just not at Netflix anymore.

After letting the Netflix deal expire, Fox has locked in a new streaming agreement to bring the complete seasons of Futurama to Hulu as the series’ new streaming home. Futurama had been a mainstay and fan favorite in Netflix’s catalog for a long time. So if you don’t want to plunk down the cash for DVD collections, it could be time to add Hulu to your list of services (if it’s not there already).

Along with Futurama, Hulu will also be adding Bob’s Burgers and The Cleveland Show. The show joins other animated fare at the service, such as South Park, Adventure Time and The Boondocks.

After leaving Netflix, you had to assume Fox would land a new streaming deal for the series. If not Netflix, Hulu seems like an obvious home, considering its focus on animation.

Are you glad Futurama is coming to Hulu? Will you miss it on Netflix?
