One of the biggest TV events we have to look forward to is the final season of Game of Thrones, and while we might not see it until 2019, you better believe we're still talking about it. So, it stands to reason that the show's stars will be subjected to plenty of questions about our final trip to Westeros (at least, until the spinoffs start).
Among them is John Bradley, who plays Samwell "Sam" Tarly on the show. In a new interview with TV Guide, Bradley — without revealing any real spoilers — did reveal that the show will place virtually every major character in a new location next season.
"Each of the characters this year is placed in a completely alien environment at some point in the season that they've never been placed in before," he said. "The thrill is seeing how they react to it and how they respond... This season, I think, more than any other is stretching these characters."
Game of Thrones characters were already stretched quite a bit last season, and plenty of them were given new locations to explore. Even apart from the extraordinary summit in King's Landing, Jon went South for the first time (that he knew of), Dany came to Westeros, and Grey Worm went to Casterly Rock. It was a season of characters zipping back and forth at a dazzling pace, and while we don't yet know what the final season will give us, the possibilities feel endless.
Cersei at The Wall? Dany in Dorne? Jon in the Iron Islands? Anything feels up for grabs.
