Game of Thrones has added a new Red Woman to its cast for Season 6, but will she be a new Melisandre?

Deadline reports that British actress Melanie Liburd (NBC's Dracula) has been cast in the role of a Red Priestess of R’hllor. Whereas the site believes she may have been cast to replace Carice Van Houten as Melisandre (I reeeaaaally don’t think that’s the case), it is far more likely that she’s playing a brand-new character.

This is actually tied to a casting notice and a leaked audition. So, who is Liburd playing? The name of the newest Red Woman is Kinvara, a Red Priestess who goes to Mereen because she’s under the impression that Dany (Emilia Clarke), aka the Mother of Dragons, is actually the One Who Was Promised.

If that sounds familiar to some of you, it’s because once upon a time Melisandre believed Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) to be the One Who Was Promised. However, last season her attention shifted to the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, Jon Snow (Kit Harington), who was stabbed to death at the end of Season 5. But as you already know, recent reports and set pics have proven once and for all that Jon will be back in the flesh, probably resurrected by Melisandre.

What do you guys think of this new casting? Are you looking forward to seeing a new Red Priestess of R'hllor?
