Gamer murders Internet cafe owner over lost connection

If you spend any time in an Internet cafe, you're going to want to sit down for this.

We thought it was bad enough when, recently, a grown man refused to eat because his father took away his videogames, but this is a whole new level of extreme behavior. A gamer, Zhao, was at his local internet cafe haunt trying to play his games.  Unfortunately, there was a problem with the connection and he repeatedly got kicked off his game.  He was incensed, which is understandable.  His way of dealing with that anger, however, is not.

The owner of the net cafe, whose last name was Ren, was at home when Zhao turned up to share his anger over the shoddy Internet connection.  Ren tried to calmly reason with Zhao, explaining that it was possible he might have accidentally downloaded a virus that had caused the unreliable connection.

That's when Zhao began hitting Ren.  Ren attempted to protect himself with a hammer, but to no avail.  Zhao took a pair of scissors and stabbed Ren to death.  He also murdered Ren's wife and then, allegedly, burned their house down to try and cover his tracks.

The crime was committed back in December, but Zhao was only finally arrested recently.  It's relieving to hear he was found, though.  Frankly, that level of thought indicates a man who knew what he was doing and suggests the kind of amorality that could lead to a repeat performance.
