E3 is officially over but there's still plenty of gaming news on the horizon. Updates to Fornite, a release date for Dragon Ball FighterZ, and a demo in the world of Portal.
A recent post on the Epic Games website revealed some upcoming changes to the Save the World story mode in Fortnite, which came out in 2017. Some big changes include a new biodome and campaign called Canny Valley which they say will answer questions related to Dr. Vinderman, in addition to seeing favorite characters "along with iconic locations and enemies." The update also includes more variety when it comes to missions and enemy types. They also alluded to other updates coming in 2018, so get ready. (via Variety)
Meet Moondust, a new demo which takes place in the Portal universe. Valve released Moondust for their Knuckles EV2 virtual reality controller. In Moondust, the player works for Aperture Science searching for a gel used in portal technology. While Valve says the demo isn't perfect, they did tell Variety that it's "the best current demonstration of all the features of Knuckles EV2.” In Moonstruck, users can use the Knuckles EV2 controller to crush moon rocks and drive a moon buggy, so if you've ever wanted to live out your space dreams, here's your chance.
If you've been looking forward to grabbing Bandai Namco's Dragon Ball FighterZ for your Nintendo Switch, you've got a few more months to wait. The release date has officially been announced for September 28. However, if you're interested in pre-ordering, you can grab some additional items like a Saiyan Blue Goku, Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, and a free copy of Dragon Ball: Super Butoden, which was originally released in 1993.
