It most definitely feels real now — the deadly mind of Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin is coming to SYFY. Today we have the full trailer for the new series, called Nightflyers

Based on his novella from 1980 and executive produced by him, the new show finds a group of spacefarers embarking on a mission — only to find that not everything aboard their own ship is entirely as it seems.

Part sci-fi, part thriller, and part horror, Nightflyers looks like it will have something for everyone. Take a look at the new trailer right here:

The cast of the new show includes Eoin Macken (The Forest), Gretchen Mol (Boardwalk Empire), David Ajala (Jupiter Ascending), Jodie Turner-Smith (The Last Ship) and Angus Sampson (Mad Max: Fury Road), as well as the incomparable Brian F. O'Byrne (The Magicians).

The first episode was directed by Mike Cahill (Another Earth) and adapted from Martin's original story by the creator of this new show, Jeff Buhler

Macken, Mol, Ajala, Turner-Smith and Sampson took the stage at San Diego Comic-Con today alongside Buhler and executive producers Gene Klein and David Bartis. We'll have coverage of the panel and all of the questions that were raised during it shortly.

Can't make it to San Diego this year? Worry not — SYFY WIRE has your back. We'll be covering all four days of the convention, so stay right there and let us bring the con to you.
