Excitement for the new season of Doctor Who is getting pretty intense at the moment, with the first teaser having dropped a few days ago and the new cast getting ready to have their first big San Diego Comic-Con panel tomorrow.

In case you aren't excited enough, the official Doctor Who Twitter account has released three new images from the upcoming Season 11. Unlike previous images, these look like they are from actual episodes.

Take a look at the new incarnations of The Doctor (Jodie Whittaker), along with companions Graham (Bradley Walsh), Yasmin (Mandip Gill), and Ryan (Tosin Cole).

What exactly is this fab foursome up to in these images? We honestly have no idea, and maybe that's the point. We are even more curious than we were before, and if they wanted us champing at the bit for tomorrow's panel, then, well done.

The new season is full of new things for the classic sci-fi series — it is the first time the Doctor is being played by a woman, there's a new showrunner in charge (Chris Chibnall), there's a new composer (Segun Akinola), and it's the first time in a long time that that Doctor has traveled with three full time companions. Sure, River came and went as she pleased when Matt Smith traveled with Amy and Rory, but these three seem to be in it for most every episode and then some.

How will the new character dynamics work out? What will Jodie Whittaker's 13th Doctor be like? What adventures are in store for us? Hopefully the panel tomorrow will have some answers, and maybe an actual trailer as well. That would be ace.

Not going to be at San Diego Comic-Con for the big panel? Worry not — SYFY WIRE has your back. We will have full coverage of it for you tomorrow, with all of the timey-wimey details.
