Before settling on the costumes we saw in that first awesome Justice League footage and very cool official image, there was a much different look envisioned for Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller).

The good folks at Ironhead Studios (who are behind the costumes) have shared an image of the life-size maquettes they designed for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Featured are the Scarlet Speedster’s battle armor, which is the one he used to travel back in time through the Speed Force to warn Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) of an incoming threat, while this prototype version of Cyborg’s suit sports a much different helmet than the one he’ll ultimately wear. Have a look below, and let us know what you guys think.

Justice League will see the legendary superhero team assemble for the first time to battle confirmed villain Steppenwolf. Along with Affleck, Miller and Fisher, the movie, directed by Zack Snyder, stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Jason Momoa as Aquaman. Amy Adams, Diane Lane, J.K. Simmons, Jesse Eisenberg, Willem Dafoe and Amber Heard round out the cast. Justice League will fly onto movie theaters on Nov. 17, 2017.
