The first clip from Big Hero 6 is finally here, and it stars a robot who's just trying to do his job.
We've been waiting a long time to see more of this particular Walt Disney Animation Studios project, and not just because it stars a superhero team that originated in the pages of Marvel Comics. Everything we've seen and heard about the look and feel of the film promises something fun, and the more we see, the more we can't wait for its November release. Last night, at the end of an ABC special on the making of the smash hit Frozen, Disney finally unveiled the first clip from Big Hero 6, and it's an endearing combination of funny and cute.
In the clip, Hiro (voiced by Ryan Potter) is just hanging out alone in his room, but when he drops something heavy on his foot, his shouts of pain trigger Baymax (voiced by Scott Adsit), a Personal Healthcare Companion robot. After finally making his way across the room, Baymax just wants to help, but Hiro's not actually in need of a Personal Healthcare Companion, and hilarity ensues. Check out the clip below:
Big Hero 6 -- which also stars Jamie Chung, Damon Wayans Jr., Genesis Rodriguez, T.J. Miller and Maya Rudolph -- hits theaters Nov. 7.
