Are you eagerly anticipating the release of Assassin’s Creed Unity? Then take a look at Assassin’s Creed: The Musical.
Yep. You read that right.
The totally off-(off-off-off)-Broadway musical is brought to us by Machinima Prime, who’ve taken on the massive task of adapting Ubisoft’s popular series of videogames, Assassin’s Creed, as a musical (move over, Les Mis!). The endeavour was inspired by a bit of improv during an episode of Inside Gaming Q&A last year, and the end result is a three-song musical theater experience.
Assassin's Creed: The Musical features the main protagonists from previous games including Altair, Ezio, Connor, Edward, Aveline and Desmond Miles. All in costume.
Directed by Brendan Bradley, the musical features original songs by Cormac Bluestone and Joel Rubin. It stars Machinima Inside Gaming hosts Bruce Greene and Eliot Dewberry, as well as musical stars Matt Caplan (Spiderman Turn Off the Dark), Jonah Platt (HAIR Hollywood Bowl), Ben Palacios (SPANK! National Tour) and Jaquita Ta'le (from the hip hop/R&B/reggae group Nola Darling).
This first song is being described as a “rousing number with hints of Lion King imagery, followed by a monster anthem/torch song 'Leap of Faith,' and concluding with a chorus number that will make everyone familiar with Broadway think of the hit musical Assassins!”

All three full-length songs are set to be released next week.
Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Unity hits stores on Nov. 11.
