Jim Fletcher, executive creative director of collectibles at DC Comics, spoke with us at San Diego Comic-Con about the fabulous toys that DC will shower us with in the coming months.

Of course, he’s in cosplay.

Specifically, Fletcher is cosplaying DC’s recent Gotham City Garage, a collectibles line that inspired the digital-first comic that will be released in August. GCG reimagines our heroes as tattooed outlaw bikers in a post-apocalyptic world, fighting the fascist governor Lex Luthor and his pristine Gotham regime.

Fletcher showed off the 2018 line of vinyl figures from artists Hainanu “Nooligan” Salque, Sho Murase, and Chris Uminga, plus toys from Batman: The Animated Series, with multiple heads sporting different expressions, just in case Harley or Joker needs an attitude adjustment.

Perhaps the coolest item on display is the bat signal with three swappable bats: classic, Jim Lee, or Christopher Nolan. It all depends on which Batman you want to save the day.

These toys will be released either later this year or in 2018. Check out the video below, because there’s no time like the present to start a shopping list.
