Disney has released a new clip from the upcoming live-action adaptation of their classic animated movie Beauty and the Beast.
In the new clip, Beast goes to Belle's room to extend a dinner invitation to his new guest ... but let's just say his bedside manner needs a little work. His staff tries to help by giving him some much-needed pro tips on how to be a diplomat when inviting a young lady who has other ideas (such as escaping the enchanted castle at all costs).
"And when she opens the door, give her a dashing, debonair smile. Come come, show me the smile!" Ha!! Not sure that'll work either.
Directed by Bill Condon (Mr. Holmes) from a screenplay by Evan Spiliotopoulos (The Huntsman: Winter’s War) and Stephen Chbosky (Jericho, The Perks of Being a Wallflower), the House of Mouse’s new take on Madame Leprince de Beaumont’s enchanted tale stars Harry Potter's Emma Watson as Belle and Legion star Dan Stevens as the titular Beast. The film also stars Kevin Kline as Belle's father Maurice, Luke Evans as Gaston, Josh Gad as Le Fou, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Ewan McGregor as Lumière, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette and Nathan Mack as Chip.
Beauty and the Beast opens on March 17.
