There's no *burp* telling when and if the fourth season of Adult Swim's *burp* Rick and Morty will premiere, but there's no need to wallow in pity like a Meeseeks without a purpose. A virtual reality experience based on the hit TV show is coming to PlayStationVR, and it's aptly named Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality.
Developed by Adult Swim Games and developers Owlchemy Labs and Other Ocean Group, the adventure game will allow you to press buttons, step through inter-dimensional portals, solve puzzles, fight aliens, get yelled at by Rick, and drink detergent. Don't blame us for that last one, it's the press release speaking. The trailer itself is like a super condensed episode of the series, and it ends with Rick and Morty killing their VR selves in order to take their place. Just watch:
According to the release, key features include:
- Fully voiced, 3D Rick and Morty goodness
- Help Rick (or don't) and explore multiple strange dimensions
- Probe, prod, throw, and smash iconic items like the Plumbus
- Learn how to fix an intergalactic car
- Hang out in iconic places like Rick's garage
- Question your self worth
- Real fake doors
Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality will become available on April 10 for $29.99. If you get the limited Collector's Edition, you'll get a copy of the game, a Rick and Morty Funko Pop! vinyl figure, and an exclusive double-sided poster featuring Rick and Morty comic book cover art.
So, what are you waiting for? Get your shi** together, get it all together and put it in a back pack, all your sh**, so it's together. And if you gotta take it somewhere, take it somewhere, you know, take it to the sh** store and sell it, or put it in the sh** museum. I don't care what you do, you just gotta get it together.
You can get a glimpse at more of the game's locations below, but we must note that Szechuan Sauce is sold separately.
