NBC has dropped a new official trailer for their upcoming supernatural drama series, Midnight, Texas. (BONUS: In case you guys haven't seen the one unveiled back in October, I've also included it below.)
Based on True Blood author Charlaine Harris' book trilogy, the TV show is penned and executive-produced by Monica Owusu-Breen (Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and centers on a small Texas town where vampires, witches, psychics, angels and hit men can find a safe haven. Midnight, Texas promises to be filled with mystery (of the murder kind), magic, horror, ghosts and sexy steamy romance. In fact, both trailers below are a bit NSFW.
The series stars François Arnaud (who played the sexy Cesare Borgia in The Borgias) as Manfred, a psychic who can see and talk to dead people. The other regular human character in town is an aspiring writer named Creek (Sarah Ramos, Parenthood), who'll be a romantic interest for Manfred.
Amongst Midnight, Texas' supernatural denizens we'll find a witch named Fiji Cavanaugh (Parisa Fitz-Henley, Luke Cage); an angel named Joe Strong (Sex and the City's Jason Lewis); a mysterious assassin named Olivia (The Vampire Diaries' Arielle Kebbel); local pawn shop owner Bobo Winthrop (Dylan Bruce, Orphan Black); Reverend Emilio Sheehan (Captain Phillips' Yul Vazquez) who may be a werewolf; and a vampire named Lemuel (Peter Mensah, True Blood, Spartacus).
Should be a lot of fun! Will you guys be tuning in when Midnight, Texas debuts on July 25 on NBC?
