We might not have any new X-Files episodes coming any time soon, but Fox is looking to get a new sitcom described as a spoof of the sci-fi classic off the ground.

The best part? You should already know most of the stars.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network has placed a pilot order for Ghosted, which is set to star Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation) and Craig Robinson (The Office). The single-camera comedy is described as a comedy version of The X-Files, featuring a skeptic (Robinson) and a paranormal believer (Scott) who are recruited by the Bureau Underground to investigate weird occurrences around Los Angeles. The pilot is being written by Tom Gormican (That Awkward Moment), with Scott and Robinson both attached to produce.

The premise is an easy enough set-up, but the participation of Robinson and Scott, who previously teamed up on Hot Tub Time Machine 2, is what really pumps this one up. They're both hilarious, and teaming them up with this premise has a ton of potential.

The network is apparently keen to get this one off the ground, so as long as the pilot checks out, this could be one to watch next season.
