Rachel Weisz and Rosario Dawson aren't the only ones who want to be in J.J. Abrams' next Star Trek film. Yet another actor has expressed his desire to play a Klingon on the sci-fi franchise, and it's ... Paul Giamatti!

OK, so Giamatti may not be as sexy as Weisz or Dawson (no disrespect intended), but he's a pretty darn good actor who mesmerized us with many of his thrilling performances in such films as Sideways, HBO's John Adams, Cinderella Man and, most recently, in Barney's Version.

Here's what the actor had to say in an interview with The Portland Mercury:

"It's always been frustrating to me. Because really, I just want to be, like, a Klingon or something. I really would love to play a Klingon. It's like, goddammit, will I ever get to play a Klingon?"

So when Giamatti says he wants in on Star Trek by either playing a Klingon or something (how about a new Emergency Medical Hologram?), J.J. Abrams better be listening, right?

Ruch (that's Klingon for "do it"), J.J. Abrams, ruch.

Would you like to see Paul Giamatti as a Klingon on Star Trek or in any other capacity?
