We hope you've been saving your pennies for a special occasion, because one has just arrived. Some of the coolest props from the biggest sci-fi franchises are about to go on auction, and we've selected the cream of the crop to whet your nerdy appetites.
Star Trek, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Terminator and on and on. All these franchises get some fantastic representation in the Profiles in History auction, which takes place Dec. 15 and 16. For those of you with the deepest of pockets, there might be something here you may try and bid on. The rest of us can just look at all the awesome and covet with all our collective might.
