For three seasons now, we've been riveted by Robin Lord Taylor's performance on Gotham. As Oswald Cobblepot, aka The Penguin, he's offered up a wholly distinct portrayal of the classic supervillian, and a damn entertaining one at that. A lot of that can be attributed to just how well Taylor seems to know Cobblepot, having spent so much time analyzing the character's fears, emotions, and motivations.

Taylor thoughtfully displays his well-developed Cobblepot acumen in the videos below (and here too!), filmed at Syfy Wire HQ. You can also see just how fascinated the actor is with the man/monster he's creating.

Check out the first video below, where Taylor discusses filling Penguin's big shoes, making him human, and letting his freak flag fly.

And don't forget this vid too, where Taylor gives us his take on the weird-but-it-makes-sense quasi-friendship between The Penguin and Poison Ivy.
