Fans are expecting more Starlord-inspired antics in the sequel to the 2014 smash-hit Guardians of the Galaxy. But it’s likely we’ll be getting that and more. Karen Gillan, who played the blue-skinned Nebula, said that Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will explore the relationship between her character and her on-screen green sister, Gamora

According to Comic Book Resources, “I think what I’m really excited about it delving into the sisterly relationship between Gamora and Nebula. I think that we’re going to see a little bit more of that, and it’s going to be a bit more fleshed out.”

But even though she says their relationship will be explored, she doesn’t quite say how. They could share a touching moment bonding over their hatred of their adoptive father Thanos. Or they could be determining each other’s weaknesses.

Knowing their relationship, as we do from this deleted scene, below, I expect it to be more of the latter. With any luck, Nebula and Gamora’s scene won’t end up on the cutting-room floor as this one did.

Gillan also told CBR that Guardians of the Galaxy 2 arrived as hand-delivered script “because they don’t send it over email….I ran upstairs, and I put on the soundtrack, the Awesome Mixtape 2, and then got into it. It’s so good.”

What else do you want to see in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 besides more Groot? Even more Groot, naturally.
