To celebrate Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’s home video debut, the first two deleted scenes from the cosmic Marvel superhero movie have emerged.

Included in the upcoming Blu-ray set (Aug. 22) as well as the film’s Digital HD release available today, the first deleted scene with unfinished FX sees Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista), and Mantis (Pom Klemantieff) as they arrive on Ego’s (Kurt Russell) planet.

See, proud papa has created a memorial of his son’s victory over Ronan (Lee Pace) on Xandar. Let’s just say, the piece is NOT artistically accurate, which leads to a couple of hilarious beats with both Drax and an awed Peter Quill.

The second deleted scene shows Kraglin (Sean Gunn) giving Peter a tutorial of the, er, outdated Zune MP3 player (although it’s a step up from his cassette player), where he is introduced to new artists (like a lady named Alice Cooper. Ha!), as well as some fresh new songs, at least for Peter. Enjoy:

For more goodies, check out the blooper reel with Baby Groot recording session, and David Hasselhoff's Guardians Inferno music video, along with a discussion with Hasselhoff and director James Gunn.
