Ahead of tomorrow's digital HD release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Marvel has dropped a blooper reel and a featurette showing stars Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel recording their lines as Rocket Raccoon and Baby Groot, respectively. Go ahead, cue those "awww"s.

The two videos are only a very small taste at the wonderful goodies Marvel will include in its Guardians Vol. 2 home-video release, and the gag reel below provides fans with a fun nugget to nibble on.

Case in point? Sylvester Stallone tripping on the word “ravagers” take after take after take (he'll say it in looping), and the rest of the cast flubbing their lines. There are also some near-accidents, including Kurt Russell nearly being hit in the face with a camera. Yikes.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, director James Gunn chatted about that particular close call. "The amazing thing about that moment is that Kurt did not budge," he explained. "You look at him, and he’s such a pro, that he’s just standing there. Oh my god, it went way too close. We were just an inch away from him getting his face broken open and that would have been the end of Kurt Russell on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. We would have had to reshoot everything with Pauly Shore.”

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will make a splash on digital HD Aug. 8 and on Blu-ray and DVD on Aug. 22.
