If you're into Arthurian lore, knights in shining armor and the magic of Excalibur, then you'll love this new SDCC trailer for King Arthur: Legend of the Sword that just dropped during the Warner Bros. panel presentation.

Directed by Guy Ritchie (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Revolver), King Arthur stars Charlie Hunnam, Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey, Jude Law, Djimon Hounsou and Eric Bana in a darkly detailed retelling of the mystical medieval saga.  Sharp eyes will recognize Game of Thrones cast members Michael McElhatton (Roose Bolton) and Aidan Gillen (Petyr Baelish) in this extended trailer, as well as Jude Law's evil sorcery, armored elephants, maidens in distress and highly combustible footsoldiers. Ritchie brings his trademark kinetic camera style to this first teaser and injects a wry British wit and brutal brawls into the familiar tale.

Here's the official synopsis:

The bold new story introduces a streetwise young Arthur who runs the back alleys of Londonium with his gang, unaware of the life he was born for until he grasps hold of the sword Excalibur—and with it, his future. Instantly challenged by the power of Excalibur, Arthur is forced to make some hard choices. Throwing in with the Resistance and a mysterious young woman named Guinevere, he must learn to master the sword, face down his demons and unite the people to defeat the tyrant Vortigern, who stole his crown and murdered his parents, and become King.

Have a look and tell us if you'll pledge yourself to Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table when the film hits on March 24, 2017.

What do you think? We've got mixed reactions to the trailer here (kinetic is good....but it can also be bad).
