Harley Quinn, the hilarious DC Universe show that's aired on both SYFY and HBO Max, gave the Batman villain a story all her own while exploring the finer points of Gotham's second-stringers. Now at the show's DC FanDome panel, cast and crew united to break down the hilarious show's most wild moments.

Voice actors Kaley Cuoco (Harley), Lake Bell (Poison Ivy), Ron Funches (Killer Shark), Matt Oberg (Kite-Man), and Alan Tudyk (Clayface, Joker) joined executive producers Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, and Dean Lorey alongside supervising producer Jennifer Coyle to welcome fans to the panel. They touched on the finer points of their warped, R-rated takes on classic DC characters.

"Cussing as the Joker seems natural," Tudyk said. "That's a natural marriage that the Joker would have foul language." Then there's fan-favorite Bane, whose punchlines were scene-stealing.

"I think we initially came up with the idea that we wanted to do a spin on Tom Hardy from The Dark Knight Rises," Lorey said. "I do remember one moment when Shane Glines, who's a brilliant character designer - so talented - we were designing Bane and he brings us this drawing of Bane and it was perfect," Halpern remembered. "I was like 'What went into this drawing?' and he was like 'Well, I feel like Bane is a guy that doesn't work out his legs.'"

Harley Quinn's bonkers DC Universe bedfellow Doom Patrol was renewed for a third season at HBO Max earlier today and that same report indicates that negotiations are underway for the animated series to continue. However, with exec turnover recently quite heavy at HBO Max, the WarnerMedia streamer is still getting its bearings and assessing its shows. So as far as a potential S3? The staff sure hopes so. And what they want to do when they get there is focus on the relationship they've recently seen blossom - pun intended.

"We want to focus on Harley and Ivy's relationship," Halpern said. "I'm less interested in if the Joker gets a new girlfriend than I am like 'Let's explore this relationship that we've spent two seasons building.'"

Harley Quinn has not yet been renewed for a third season.
