There are working titles—those secret code names filmmakers use to keep the REAL titles of their films under wraps—and then there are titles that don't really work. Does a Brazilian trailer for Super 8 show that J.J. Abrams has traded in one for the other?

MovieWeb has turned up a Brazilian trailer for the film, which looks basically the same as the one we told you about last May, only instead of being called Super 8, the title card now the show film being named Darlings.

Check it out below.

So what, if anything, does this mean? Could it be that Darlings will just be the international title for the film, while the title will remain Super 8 in the U.S.? Or was Super 8 always meant to be nothing more than a working title all along?

Super 8 (or whatever it's called) won't open until June 10th, 2011, so we've got plenty of time to think about it. ...
