If you haven't been watching HBO's The Leftovers, you've been missing out on one of the most original (and yeah, grim) shows on television. With the final season on the way, the network has dropped a trailer to set the mood.

Not surprisingly, things get pretty dark.

The new trailer is light on plot details as it focuses on Kevin (Justin Theroux) and Nora (Carrie Coon) preparing for a flight to Australia. There's just the threat of a "worldwide flood" and some general chaos to contend with, of course, with some startling visuals spliced in.

This show hasn't just explored dark emotions and themes during its run -- it's reveled in them. From grief and loss to the horror of being left behind, it hasn't shied away from any of it.

The third and final 10-episode season of The Leftovers premieres April 16 on HBO.
