There's a lot of new comic-book-inspired fun heading to the big screen next year, and while most of our attention is focused on stuff like Avengers: Age of Ultron, trailers for Kingsman keep popping up to remind us that we won't want to miss this film, either. Based on the comic The Secret Service by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons and directed and co-written by Matthew Vaughn (X-Men: First Class), the film follows street punk Eggsy (Taron Egerton) as he's introduced to the world of espionage by legendary superspy Harry Hart (Colin Firth). Eggsy's quickly blown away by all the cool toys and skills the "Kingsman" organization gives him access to, but it's not all fun and gadgets. An international terror threat is brewing in the form of Valentine (Samuel L. Jackson), and it's up to all the Kingsmen to come together and stop him.
Just like the previous trailers we've seen for the flick, this one packs plenty of action, big guns and humor, with some added Red Band spice in the form of exploding heads, a little sex and Jackson letting an F-bomb fly. Check it out:
Early reactions to Kingsman are comparing it to the fun of the first Kick-Ass film, so if you enjoyed the kind of mayhem Vaughn and Millar delivered that time around, you'll want to check this out. And even if you're still skeptical ... look, this movie features a woman with swords for shoes, so I'm sold.
Kingsman: The Secret Service hits theaters Feb. 13, 2015.
