Even though she was on everyone’s short list to be the first female Doctor on Doctor Who, Dame Helen Mirren has shot down rumors that she might become the Twelfth Doctor.

However, the actress has revealed just who she’d like to see step into the beloved Time Lord’s bigger-on-the-inside shoes.

In an interview on ITV's Daybreak, Mirren has said that she was "absolutely not" in line to replace Matt Smith, who'll step down as the Eleventh Doctor during this year's upcoming Christmas episode. But she knows who should.

"I'm not going to be the first female Doctor Who - no, no, no. I absolutely wouldn't contemplate that."
"I do think it's well over-time to have a female Doctor Who. I think a gay, black female Doctor Who would be the best of all."

Do you agree with Helen Mirren that the next Doctor should be “a gay, black female Doctor”? Or at least, one of the above?
