This film has not yet been rated, but that isn’t stopping Mission: Impossible 6 co-star Henry Cavill from teasing with the boundaries. Here’s a dude who’s clearly unfazed by drawing even more attention to his appearance — even after a summer-long studio skirmish that centered on…his mustache.

We just hope he gives himself a day or two to recuperate before he does any more chest thumping. On a Norwegian location shoot for M:I 6, Cavill paused for a gnarly-looking photo of himself harnessed and perched over the edge of a nearly 2,000-foot mountain drop — protected from certain death by nothing more than a pair of cheekily salacious-looking fashion accessories.

Cavill’s going-out attire was part of a stunt shoot that put the Superman star in the same precarious territory as M:I 6 costar Tom Cruise, whose infamous determination to perform all his own stunt work led to a project-stalling broken ankle back in August.

Aside from Cavill and his still-unnamed character, Ethan Hunt’s next espionage adventure will bring in a load of veteran actors, including Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan, Simon Pegg, Angela Bassett, Alec Baldwin and Ving Rhames.

Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation director Christopher McQuarrie (The Way of the Gun, Jack Reacher) is returning to direct this latest sequel.

While story beats on M:I 6 are still light, filming is definitely back on track. There’s been no word on whether Cruise’s injury setback has altered the release window, but Paramount’s target date for the next chapter in the effects-heavy saga is July 27, 2018.
