The first gory trailer for the remake of Eli Roth’s 2002 horror movie Cabin Fever has finally made its merry way online.

Directed by Travis Zariwny (with Roth serving as executive producer), the movie stars a selection of fresh, new, young bodies ready to be sacrificed on the altar of horror films in Gage Golightly (Teen Wolf), Dustin Ingram (Paranormal Activity 3), Samuel Davis (From Dusk Till Dawn), Matthew Daddario (Delivery Man) and Nadine Crocker (Deadgirl).

Even though the upcoming horror movie is a remake, and the exact same script as the original penned by Randy Pearlstein was used, expect the deaths to be different. Oh, and Deputy Winston is now a woman. Here’s the official synopsis:

“A flesh-eating virus makes a meal of 5 teens on spring break in a remote wood cabin in this update of Eli Roth’s classic gorefest, with all-new characters and all-new kills.” Like the original, this will attract the, um, unwanted attention of homicidal locals. Check it out:

Cabin Fever will have its work cut up (gettit?) for it since the horror movie opens in theaters against Deadpool on Feb. 12.
