Some cool concept art from Disney's eagerly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens has made its way online, giving us our first real look at Lupita Nyong'o's character. Not only that, but we finally have a name to go with it: Maz Kanata.

While we've already seen some behind-the-scenes pics of Lupita Nyong'o doing her best Andy Serkis impression while dressed in her mo-cap suit -- thanks to Vanity Fair's recent coverage by Annie Leibovitz -- this piece of concept art offers us a pretty decent idea of what the "Rose" character (that was the code name used by the production) played by Nyong'o will look like. Some keen-eyed fans may have noticed that she was very briefly glimpsed in the trailer (she handed over Luke's old lightsaber), but this is the first real look we've had of her, thanks to the good folks at Indie Revolver. Check her out:

What do you guys think? Are you disappointed to see Lupita Nyong'o's features disappear behind the character of Maz Kanata, or are you excited to see what the Oscar-winning actress will bring to the role of a green, long-necked alien space pirate?

Directed by J.J. Abrams, Star Wars: The Force Awakens will arrive in theaters on Dec. 18, 2015.
