After spending an entire season missing from our TV screens, Isaac Hempstead-Wright is finally returning as Bran Stark on the upcoming sixth season of HBO's Game of Thrones.

And we have a first look at the character, thanks to the good folks over at Entertainment Weekly.

As you can see below, the 16-year-old actor has grown quite a bit again (he’s apparently nearly 6 feet tall!) since last we saw him, and he’s cut his long, shaggy hair. Looking good there! But where did he find the horse? What does it mean? I'm sure it's an easier mode of transportation than Hodor (Kristian Nairn), whose back must be shot by now. Poor Hodor.

If you guys will recall, Ned Stark’s (Sean Bean) son has been on a quest to find the Three-Eyed Raven (now played by the great Max von Sydow) so he could help him control his warging and psychic powers. The last time we saw Bran was during the Season 4 finale, when he finally met up with the mystical being in a cave north of The Wall, an arduous journey that cost his friend, Jojen Reed (Thomas Brodie-Sangster), his life.

What do you think of Bran Stark’s new look? Are you looking forward to seeing his storyline pick up again on Season 6 of Game of Thrones?
