Filming on the upcoming, six-episode X-Files event series has finally begun, and the official Twitter account for the eagerly anticipated sci-fi series has published what is our first official look at Mulder and Scully together again.
But that’s not all, because main stars Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny were also spotted filming on set yesterday by onlookers. Of course, pics have made their way online, and we’ve got a couple to share with you below. Also spotted on set was Community’s Joel McHale, who'll play a new character named Tad O'Malley, a popular conservative Internet news network anchor who’ll become an "unlikely ally" for Mulder.
The last time we dared to believe in Fox Mulder and Dana Scully was in the mediocre movie The X-Files: I Want to Believe back in 2008. We’ll have to wait until January of 2016 until we get to see them on our TV screens again, but here's hoping the years apart -- and a different format -- will make us believe in The X-Files again.
Are you excited for the upcoming X-Files revival?
