After our first look at Gotham's Detective Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) and Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova), we're now finally getting to gaze upon Bruce Wayne’s trusted butler, friend and confidant, Alfred Pennyworth.

British actor Sean Pertwee is stepping into the very large shoes previously filled by actors Alan Napier, Michael Gough and — most recently, in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight flicks — Michael Caine.

And there he is:

According to Gotham’s Facebook page, this is how the character is being described:

Alfred Pennyworth (Sean Pertwee – Elementary, Camelot) is a tough-as-nails ex-marine from East London who has loyally served the Waynes. Now, in the wake of their tragic deaths, he’s fiercely protective of the young Bruce Wayne.

We really like the way Pertwee looks here, so simple and understated, yet dignified. What do you guys think?

Along with Pertwee, Logue and Bicondova Fox's Gotham also stars Ben McKenzie as James Gordon, Jada Pinkett Smith as Fish Mooney and David Mazouz as a young Bruce Wayne.
