The world at large finally got a chance to see Joss Whedon’s pilot for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. this week on ABC, but what’s coming up next for Marvel’s newest gang of heroes? Now, we know.
Synopses for the next three episodes have been released, revealing a trip to Peru to obtain an artifact; a sci-fi tinged kidnapping case; and a high-stakes heist. The pilot scored solid reviews with critics and fans alike, but the real question is where the series goes next.
We’re anxious to see exactly how Whedon & Co. plan to string this concept out for the long haul, and the next three episodes seem to go a long way toward establishing the Marvel-style case of the week we’ll be seeing on a regular basis.
