Having seen the trailers and various behind-the-scenes pics and videos that have emerged from the set of Warner Bros.' hotly anticipated Suicide Squad movie over the past few months, it’s no big secret that the Dark Knight will have a cameo in director David Ayer’s comic book film.
But who will Ben Affleck’s Batman actually interact with? Will he get into an epic fight with the whole of the Suicide Squad, or will he come into contact with just a few team members?
According to a new report over at Batman News, the Caped Crusader won’t be crossing paths with our entire team of secret government agency-led supervillains. And while we were led to believe Batman would at least get some quality time with Jared Leto’s Joker, it sadly seems that won't be the case.
The site claims Batman will have two scenes with Deadshot, played by Will Smith. One is said to be an emotional scene (get your tissues ready) and the other will be a flashback. The other character Batman will also come into contact with won't be The Joker but Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn.
Remember that car chase scene we saw in the trailers with Batman, The Joker and Harley Quinn? Well, apparently there’s not much interaction between the Dark Knight and the Clown Prince of Crime there and it's going to to be Batman and Harley who will interact the most since the Caped Crusader saves Harley when the car plunges into the water (you can actually see snippets of this in the trailer below).
What do you think? If this is true, are you disappointed there won’t be an epic Batman vs. Suicide Squad face-off when the movie opens Aug. 5?
