Looks like Batman v Superman is even more packed with major characters than we thought!
Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, Aquaman -- pretty soon we're just gonna start writing articles called "Guess who's NOT in Batman v Superman," and that will be more surprising than the people who are in it.
But today is not that day. No. Instead, today is the day we heard that (POTENTIAL SPOILERS IF THIS IS TRUE) the monster who killed Superman in one of the highest-selling comic books of all time will be in Zack Snyder's latest DC offering -- Doomsday.
Yup. Sources close to the film say they've seen designs for Doomsday, but as to what capacity he'll appear in, we have no idea. Will he play a big role? Just a flashback? Cameo? Or will he just be cut altogether?
But this is big news! Doomsday has never appeared in a live-action Superman movie before. And the dude is kind of a huge deal. Not many people kill Superman. And, seriously, even if you've never read that comic, you probably own it. No kidding. Do you have a basement? Go down there, flip open a few boxes, and, nestled between the embarrassing baby photos and your mom's doily collection, I swear to the father, son and holy ghost of Jor-El you will find a black polybagged copy of Death of Superman.
Seriously, though -- Doomsday: Yea or nay?
