Bollywood filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma issued a challenge yesterday to any horror film fan who thinks he or she can't be scared—a $10,000 reward for anyone who can watch his latest supernatural thriller alone in a theater all the way through the closing credits.

"Anyone who says the movie cannot scare him is going to be put in a theater by himself," Varma said about his upcoming film Phoonk 2, a sequel to his 2008 film about an evil spirit that traumatizes a family.

Those willing to accept the challenge will be wired up to a heart-monitoring machine as well as a camera to make sure they keep their eyes open during the whole movie, Reuters reported. The results will be brodcast live on a screen outside the theater, and if the contestant succeeds, Varma promises to pay 500,000 rupees (approximately $10,850).
