Merchandise, exclusives, and the delicious acquiring of all things nerdy — that’s the tangible takeaway from San Diego Comic-Con's Mecca-like gathering of comic artists and those who appreciate them.
Knowing as much, here's a handy little heads up: SYFY is collaborating with three major comic artists for SDCC merch drops, which include specially designed T-shirts and hoodies.
Thursday, July 19, will see T-shirts created by DC/Image Comics artist Babs Tarr and In4mation. Babs is probably best known for her work on Batgirl, where she helped create the character’s current “Batgirl of Burnside” look and identity.

Babs is also the creator of her own book, Image Comics’ lady-biker saga Motor Crush.
On Friday, July 20, the collab between renowned cartoonist Kim Jung Gi and BAIT drops. Kim Jung has captured international intention in the last few years thanks to his unique style and epic scope – all of which he does without making ANY marks prior to sketching.
Yes, this comes from just his mental visualization. Which means this exclusive item will have been created the same way.
Saturday, July 21, will see BAIT showing up yet again, this time releasing their offerings with Batman and Wolverine artist Jock. The one consistency in Eisner-nominated Jock’s prolific portfolio is the gorgeous, painting-like style of his work:

Babs’ pieces will be released at 10 am PT.
Kim Jung Gi’s T-shirts will be available at 10 am PT.
Jock’s pieces will be available at 10 am PT.
The line opens at 9 am PT each day.
HOWEVER, if you are not attending SDCC this year, that doesn’t mean you can’t get the above items yourselves. By visiting In4mation (https://www.in4mation.co) Thursday at 10 am PT for Babs’ items and BAIT (http://www.baitme.com) Friday and Saturday at 10 am PT for Kim Jung and Jock’s items, respectively, you’ll have a chance to get the exclusives and have them shipped to your home. It’s first come, first served, and there are only limited supplies, so set your calendar now!
