X-Men: Apocalypse director Bryan Singer shared a snap of Sir Patrick Stewart, the original Professor X, visiting the Montreal set on his Instagram account.
Trying to look intensely thoughtful, @sirpatstew and #jasonreitman visiting #xmen #apocalypse #xmenapocalypse set and reminiscing about our own #daysoffuturepast. Looking forward to "jasonreitmanlivereading tonight of #biglebowski with #michaelfassbender as "The Dude!"

Before everyone gets all excited thinking Capt. Jean-Luc Picard was there to film a scene in the upcoming mutant-filled movie, I’m sorry to burst your bubble because Stewart wasn’t. The actor is currently in Montreal because he’s hosting a gala during the Just for Laughs comedy festival.
Patrick Stewart previously confirmed that he wouldn’t appear in Apocalypse, but has hinted that he may be in director James Mangold’s third Wolverine movie.
