Love his movies or hate them, you can't deny that Zack Snyder likes giving the fans little teases of things to come.
That's exactly what he appears to be doing in a new photo that he posted online at Twitter, which shows him sitting on the Justice League set, deep in concentration as he works on a storyboard for a scene in the movie (and wears one of Batman's arm gauntlets as a bit of cosplay):
If you look a little more closely at that image -- and thanks to Coming Soon for doing the work here -- you can see that he's actually working on a scene featuring none other than Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke (i.e. the guy with the eyepatch):
Now, since Ben Affleck teased Deathstroke as a villain in his upcoming standalone Batman movie, with Joe Manganiello announced to play the role a short time later, it seems as if we are going to get a look at Wilson in Justice League as a way to set up what will presumably be a much larger role in The Batman (or whatever Affleck's solo movie is eventually called).
Go ahead, take another look yourself (and no, we don't know who he's talking to, but yes, it does look suspiciously like the bald head of another DC supervillain). That's Deathstroke, all right, and it appears we'll get to meet him onscreen for the first time when Justice League opens on Nov. 10, 2017. Thanks for the heads-up, Zack.
