The final stretch of shooting for James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is fast approaching, and to mark the occasion, the director shared the final storyboard art with fans on his Facebook acount. The rough illustration depicts Peter Quill, Baby Groot and Rocket Raccoon standing in an oval aperature with the comments: "Quill and Rocket stand pure silhoette (sp). Rocket pulls out pen light. Shines it at camera."
This represents one of the last shots filmed on Wednesday at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, where the cast and crew have been working steadily since February. Most of the principal actors, like Chris Pratt and David Bautista have wrapped their scenes, with only a few shots of Rocket Raccoon, Yondu and Groot remaining yesterday before the official wrap. Thursday Gunn also announced his intentions on attending San Diego Comic-Con this year in Hall H via a special Facebook video.
"We have an announcement. We, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, are coming to San Diego Comic-Con this year. We're going to be there. I'm gong to be there. Chris Pratt is going to be there. A bunch of the gang is going to be there. And we're going to show you guys something pretty cool."
