Japanese YouTuber Juzji posted this clip, from which we have captured an image. He wrote that he came across this Star Wars art in a rice field in the village of Inakadate in Aomori prefecture.
According to the Aomori sightseeing guide, “The rice paddy art uses various colored rice plants as paint on a rice-field canvas. The massive pictures are elaborately designed using perspective drawing methods to make them look their best when seen from the observation platform.”
Plus, it’s the closest thing to seeing BB-8 on a big screen until Dec. 18, 2015.
