Without a doubt, the most mysterious Suicide Squad character is former-model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne’s Enchantress. So, what’s her deal? Because it’s still unclear if Enchantress will be a team player or if she’ll be the villain (as rumored) our antiheroes will have to take down.
Empire has revealed a new stunning magazine cover featuring the creepy (but still strangely sexy) Suicide Squad team member, along with a short but intriguing bit of interview. Here’s what Cara Delevingne revealed about her character:
"She's an ancient sorceress," says the star. "A feral being. She's been trapped for so long and now she's finally let out." The hapless human whom Enchantress takes over is June Moone, who finds more than she bargained for while exploring a creepy cave. "June is an adventure-seeker who's always wanted some excitement. And she gets what she wished for, in an terrible way."
Looks like Delevingne will be playing two very different characters: the human June and the ancient feral sorceress known as Enchantress. So, how did the actress go about making them disparate? It's all in the accent, baby (that and getting in the mood by listening to some heavy metal music):
"I'd gather the accent, which is deeper and posher than June's. And I'd last Nick Cave's Red Right Hand, that song about the devil. Also a lot of Megadeth. Just evil stuff."
