Gather 600 HD televisions together and you just might be able to absorb the total cosmic awe of this incredible image of the Andromeda galaxy captured by the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope.
NASA released this epic, 1.5-billion-pixel photo earlier this month, piecing together 411 separate images and delivering the most detailed vision yet of this spectacular spiral galaxy spinning 2.5 million light-years away. It's a humbling, brain-numbing example of what a tiny spot we all exist within in our universe. Stare and stammer, then check out the brief fly-through video, pulling us deep into the photo's millions of stars and thousands of star clusters across 40,000 light-years.
