Image of the Day: Sensational new NASA shot of Saturn's moon Dione

Behold this stunning photo taken by NASA's Cassini-Huygens spacecraft as it made a soaring pass over the surface of Saturn's rugged moon Dione.  It was captured during last week's flyby at just 321 miles above the cratered moon, with an austere glimpse at one of Saturn's mighty rings off to the left.   Cassini will make one more sweep past Dione in August after a flyby of Saturn's largest satellite, Titan, on July 7.  Since 2004, the Cassini space probe has documented and catalogued some of the most amazing images of Saturn and its rings, storms and moons, and this latest shot, courtesy of the Jet Propulsion Lab, is another jewel in its cosmic mission's crown,  Have a look ...
