Disney's 1991 animated adaptation of Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve's 18th-century fairy tale, Beauty and the Beast, was an unprecedented success for the House of Mouse and helped usher in a new renaissance of animated features, becoming the first film ever nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture.
The upcoming live-action version directed by Bill Condon (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn) looks to be another blockbuster for Walt's Magic Kingdom, and interest across all age groups is highly evident.
With that, here's a beautiful new triptych poster for the new Beauty and the Beast, revealing not only the characters of Belle (Emma Watson) and The Beast (Dan Stevens) waltzing in the center but also some of the other inhabitants of the enchanted castle's confines, like Ewan McGregor as Lumière, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Stanley Tucci as Cadenza, Audra McDonald as Garderobe, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts and co-stars Kevin Kline as Maurice, Josh Gad as Lefou and Luke Evan as Gaston.
Behold this breathtaking new poster and tell us if you plan to be swept away when Beauty and the Beast materializes on March 17.
