The first official movie stills for Duncan Jones' Warcraft (based on the hugely successful series of strategy games and the MMORPG by Blizzard) have been released, introducing us to Robert Kazinski's (True Blood, The Frankenstein Code) orc character, Orgrim.
Director Duncan Jones (Moon) has said about the casting of Kazinski, "We were looking for someone who would be able to perform the gruffness, the humor and the toughness of this character."
The character was brought to life by Industrial Light & Magic, who took some concept art from Blizzard Entertainment (the creators of World of Warcraft) and merged it with photos and scans of the actor to create the upcoming fantasy movie's Orgrim Doomhammer. "We've gone beyond the point where these are just creatures in movies. We now have the technology and the ability to make new characters entirely," said Jones.
The epic fantasy movie Warcraft is set to open in theaters on June 10, 2016.
